This month CSC ‘Aviastar-SP’ is to deliver a new TU-204 aircraft to the airline based in the Far East. The aircraft was to be delivered at the end of last year but all documents for the certificate had not been prepared in time. At present there are eight Tu-204 aircraft at the final assembly shop. This year the factory has firm orders for six aircraft. Now the documents for Ruslan’s production restoration are being prepared. The Chinese contract has been set in motion. Last week in Moscow there was held the meeting of the interested parties – Ibrahim Kamel, the top managers of European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, CSC ‘Aviastar-SP’ and representatives of the Chinese party. Dr. Camel expressed his interest in production of five aircraft for China. All necessary documents have already been signed and in May it is planned to receive the first money. European Bank, according to the unofficial information, guarantees investment. Libya and Iran are also interested in our aircraft.
