BASIC TECHNICAL DATA.

AN-124-100 Ruslan Unique Civil Transport Aircraft
Herewith we present to your attention the civil transport aircraft An-124-100 manufactured by Ulyanovsk Aviation Industrial Complex Aviastar-SP. This aircraft is intended for intercontinental transportation of bulky and oversized cargo of up to 120 ton weight.

At the customer’s option, three airborne cranes can be installed on the aircraft.

To carry superheavy monocargo of up to 120 tons weight (L=20 m, W=6 m, H=4m) An-124-100 aircraft is equipped with the special cargo handling equipment.

At the customer’s option, An-124-100 aircraft can be equipped with the special two-level system for transportation of up to 50 motor cars measuring 4.4m x 1.7m x 1.5m each.

At the customer’s option, the aircraft can be equipped with the transportation system to carry ISO international-class cargo containers arranged in two lines.
Up-to-date digital Integrated Flight and Navigation Complex installed on An-124-100 aircraft complies with all effective ICAO regulations for flights on international routes and provides the following:
• vertical separation of 1000 ft (300 m) between flight levels 290-360 (RVSM);
• RNP-5 requirements for BRNAV area navigation flights.
At the customer’s option, An-124-100 aircraft can be equipped with the following:
• Engine nacelles with noise suppressing devices to meet the noise level requirements of ICAO Enclosure 16, Chapter 3;
• Traffic Collision Avoidance System TCAS-2000 with mode S transponder of Honeywell (USA);
• VHF radio stations with 8.33/25 kHz channel spacing;
• Storage batteries 20ÍÊÁÍ-40Ä with signalling device ÓÑËÍ-250Ñ or VARTA 20FP38H1CT2-R to prevent from heat runaway;
• Airborne integrated radio navigation system ABRIS;
• Satellite communication equipment Mini-M of INMARSAT system;
• Comfortable compartment for maintenance crew.
![]() Today An-124-100 aircraft are successfully operated by the leading Russian airlines (Volga-Dnepr, Flight, etc.) and foreign airlines specialized in intercontinental transportation of bulky and oversized cargoes. |
