ANTONOV-124-100 RUSLAN

Aviastar-SP Aircraft Factory presents the unique transport Antonov-124-100 aircraft designed for intercontinental air transportation of unique outsize and super heavy cargo of up to 150 tons. The aircraft was created in 1991 on the basis of the military transport An-124, it features a range of up to 1200 km and has no rivals in its payload throughout the world. Ruslan set 28 world records, its performance made it a leader in the field of the world's outsize freight transportation. The aircraft have been successfully operated by Air Forces of Russia, ‘Volga-Dnepr' and ‘Polet’ airlines, ‘Antonov Airlines’ (Ukraina).

CARGO CABIN

Cargo hold room, onboard loading/unloading equipment, 'kneeling' system and availability of general and large-size cargo loading through front and rear cargo ramps provide optimal conditions for successful aircraft operation. The aircraft may be equipped with two-tier rack system for transportation of up to 50 automobiles. Moreover, it may accommodate two-row ISO standard ULDs.

CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT

At customer’s request the aircraft can be equipped with three overhead cranes and special loading system for transportation of up to 150t single piece cargo ( L=20 m, W=6 m, H=4 m).

CERTIFICATION

Since 1993 the An-124-100 aircraft has had Type Certificate issued by Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Committee. The procedure of Type Certificate validation by UK Civil Aviation Authorities is underway. Aviastar-produced An-124 will have advanced performance: 150-t payload, 410-t take-off weight, 4-person crew . The An-124X modification with foreign engines and avionics as well as significantly increased flight range and reduced to 2-3-person crew is being designed.
