TU-204-300 AIRCRAFT CAME BACK TO THE FACTORY AFTER BEING PAINTED
In
the evening of 11 October Tu-204-300 aircraft, serial number 038, was placed at
the final assembly shop after it had been painted. Now the aircraft is
snow-white with a huge blue sea-gull on the side and symbols of
‘Vladivostok-Avia’ airline. The aircraft was painted at JSC ‘Spektr-Avia’. In
December a new Tu-204-300 aircraft is to be delivered for operation. It is the
second aircraft in the Vladivostok-Avia’s air fleet. The first aircraft has
already been operating on long-stage routes and it is going to be used on
scheduled passenger routes. Vladivostok-Avia management plans to complete the
air fleet with such economical and promising aircraft in the near future.
ULIANOVSK TU-204-300 HAS EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS
CSC “ AVIASTAR- SP” had been looking forward the news regarding the first production test flight (rout Moscow-Vladivostok- Moscow) of the aircraft TU-204-300 with serial number 26. The information from Vladivostok was welcomed with enthusiasm. According to deputy technical manager of TU-204-300 of CSC “ AVIASTAR- SP” Leonid Isaev, who got in touch by telephone with pilot-testers just after the landing on the 8th of October, at noon, at Vladivostok airport, Ulianovsk aircraft proved all required performance. With the take off mass of 105 tons it covered more than 7000 kms. In Vladivostok, its terminal waypoint, 8 tons of fuel remained in tanks; it would permit the aircraft to make a non-stop flight to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk or Korea, for example.
After accumulating the flying time required for the airworthiness certificate, TU-204-300 will return to CSC “ AVIASTAR- SP” for the cabin finishing. By November the aircraft is to be delivered to the customer with the logotype of “Vladivostoc-Avia”. The works with the acceptance aircraft of the next year are carried out in the plant workshops- only airline “Vladivostoc-Avia” plans to purchase 3 more TU-204-300.

AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION RENDERS ASSISTANCE TO RAILWAY
On 7 October within the framework of “Cooperation-Middle Volga-Russian Railways-2004” its participants visited of CSC ”Aviastar-SP”. Among the members of the delegation there were: Alexey Mersijanov, Vice president of JSC “Russian Railways”, Director of JSC “Roszheldorsnab” Ivan Besedin, Director of Research Institute of Railway Transport, Vyacheslav Lemeshko, Head of Kuybyshev Railway – the branch of JSC “Russian Railway”, etc. Vladimir Shamanov, Governor of Ulianovsk Region, his Deputy, Jevgeny Nikiforov visited CSC ”Aviastar-SP” too. Victor Mikhailov, General Director of CSC ”Aviastar-SP”, acquainted the guests with Aircraft Final Assembly Shop divisions. Workers of divisions of Final Assembly Shop enjoyed the opportunity and asked a lot of questions to the Governor, who is the member of Board of Directors of CSC ”Aviastar-SP”. The talk was about the perspectives of the factory and the plight of the region.
During the conference, that took place at CSC ”Aviastar-SP”, folder of documents regarding production of interior components, separate unites and aggregates and standard doors and windows, models of ceiling panel and etc. The factory is ready to produce railway carriages. Alexey Mersijanov, Vice President of JSC “Russian Railways”, promised that in a month all the information received in Ulianovsk would be analyzed and transferred in concrete proposals. According to Valerie Sherstianov, products of Machining Profile Marketing and Sales Director of CSC ”Aviastar-SP”, issues concerning the railway are already known for the aircraft factory. In 2000-2001 this question was thoroughly studied. The talk was about the updated carriage production on areas, which are not used for aircraft production. At present time aircraft builders hope that JSC “Russian Railway” support them.
CSC “AVIASTAR-SP” HAS SUMMED UP THE RESULTS OF SEPTEMBER
The results of September has marked the steady movement of increasing aircraft output at CSC “Aviastar-SP”. The results were summed up at the expanded directors’ meeting. To compare with August the output of basic production increased by 4,3%.
Metallurgical manufacturing of the plant, which not only provided the delivery of production for the base product (aircraft), but also disposed engineering products for 1mll 846 thousand roubles, develops. The Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Centre replenished the budget by 45 mll 447 thousand roubles as well. The aircraft with registration number 64020, belonging to “Krasnoyarsk airlines”, had been under warranty at CSC “Aviastar-SP”. Its operating time constituted 120 flying hours and 30 landings over the month, since the beginning of the operation 1824 hours and 433 landings. There were no idle periods through the fault of CSC “Aviastar-SP”.
The October plan ,considered at the meeting, is rather intensive. After the coating of TU-204-300 with registration number 38, the installation of interior will begin. When TU-204-300 (registration number 26) returns from Moscow after the certificate testing ( the flight to Vladivostok) the last stage of the cockpit re-equipment for binominal crew will commence. The works on aircraft 39 and 40 are to be under particular control. By the end of the month the modernized ”Ruslan” (0608) after additional works is to be delivered to airline “Polyot”.
THE DYE PROCEEDING OF AIRCRAFT WITH SERIAL NUMBER 38 IS UNDER WAY
The recurrent displacement of aircraft to the places of work has taken place in CSC “AVIASTAR-SP”. TU-204-300, serial number 38, after production flight test on flying station of the factory, passed to the coating. The delivery of this aircraft into operation to the airline “Vladivostok-Avia” is planned by the late of this year. This type of aircraft was replaced in the final assembly byTU-204-300, serial number 39, date of delivery of which is March of 2005. At present the work is carrying out on 7 different modifications of TU-204.
At the same time, the so-called heavy schedule of An-124-100 (serial number 06-08), belonging to the airline “Volga-Dnepr”, is going on. Similar repairs are executed after 12 thousand total time flown hours. The schedule is planned to be completed by the end of October.
ALUMINUM FOR CSC “AVIASTAR-SP”
In 2004 CSC “ AVIASTAR-SP” concluded 198 contracts with suppliers of metal. Our factory receives more than 46 thousand entitlements of aluminium rolled products, of black rolled products- 3,5 thousand. Non- ferrous rolled products come to by thousands of entitlements. Owing to effective work of material and technical supply department there are practically no failure in the material supply for the delivered aircraft of current and next years. It is Trading house “Russian aluminium rolled products” Ltd., which headquarters is situated in Moscow and plant-producers are in Krasnoyarsk, Bratsk, Samara and Belaya Kalitva, that rendered significant assistance. Manufacturing and delivery orders of aluminium rolled products for aircraft, serial numbers 038 and 039 (TU-204-300), have been executed during 1,5-2 months instead of 5-6 months spent on this work before..Metal supply for the following aircraft is carrying out in the same rate.
