Aviastar-SP completed certification flight
test program of Tu-204-120-CE aircraft according to ŔR-25 and JAR-25
Regulations. 25 flights were performed by Tupolev, Ăîń ÍČČĂŔ crews, and
test-pilots Dan Griffith and John Mathew.
Now the airliner is in the Final Assembly Shop of the factory. On meeting the
recommendations defined in the course of certification tests Tu-204-120-CE
aircraft will carry out a number of check-flights for modification efficiency
assessment. The next stage – redelivery and acceptance flight-tests held by
ARIAC. On completion of the whole flight program the airliner will be painted,
and its delivery procedure to the Operator, Air China Cargo Airlines, will start
in accord with the signed Contract.
Tu-204-120CE is a cargo upgraded “terminal” aircraft with
English cockpit and on-board data indicators in British measuring system. For
the first time the Russian aircraft is supplied with the automatical board-earth
data link system regarding equipment and engines condition. The cargo
compartment utilization is increased to 98% due to the extra cargo container in
the tail section.
Tu-204 aircraft modification and search for new types meeting
contemporary market demands continues incessantly. As a result, the whole Tu-204
aircraft family is created, being capable of satisfying requirements of the most
meticulous consumers: Tu-204-100 & Tu-204-120 (with English Rolls Royce engines)
passenger aircraft, comfortable “Universal” Tu-204-300, Tu-204C & Tu-204-120C
“terminal” freighters, Tu-204-120 CE aircraft with English cockpit which are
operated by leading Russian and foreign airlines.
DELEGATION OF THE SYRIAN ARAB REPUBLIC HAS VISITED AVIASTAR-SP
22 June 2006 the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, consisting of Y. M. Badr, Minister for Transport, Makhmud Zambua, Deputy Minister for Transport, Nashaat Numeher, Syrian Arab Airlines Director General, and others, visited Aviastar-SP. The delegation was accompanied by a group of Ilyushin Finance Co. top managers headed by Alexander Rubtsov, Director General.
