THE FIRST CUBANA AIRLINER HAS BEEN FINISHED BY AVIASTAR-SP
| On the night, from
the 26th to 27th of November the new cargo Tu-204CE airliner,
manufactured by the factory for the Cuban airline under the signed
contract, left the Final Assembly Shop. To meet a tight production
schedule works were carried out in two shifts. Currently the aircraft is on the Flight Test Station and under certification tests which include ground development of aircraft systems and flight test program with not less than 25 flights. It will be held by Tupolev crew together with ÃîñÍÈÈ ÃÀ and ÃîñÍÈÈ ÀÍ certification bodies, and aircraft handling operation is assigned to the integrated team consisting of Aviastar-SP and Tupolev Zhukovsky Flight Test Base specialists. It is the first of three Tu’s that were ordered by Cuba in Ulyanovsk. |

AVIASTAR-SP HAS BEEN ISSUED THE PRODUCTION APPROVAL FOR NEXT TWO YEARS
With the purpose of extending Production Approval No.ÎÏ 2-ÏÂÑ, issued by ÀÐÌÀÊ and expiring on the 3rd of November 2006, preperatory works were carried out at the factory to provide conformity with ÀÏ-21 requirements. ÀÐÌÀÊ inspection took place and cofirm the availibility of standard conditions indispensable for civil aircraft production. The factory has been issued the Production Approval No.ÎÏ 2-ÏÂÑ which within next two years enables to:
manufacture the TU-204 aircraft and its versions, the TU-204-300 aircraft, the AN-124-100, AN-124-100-150 aircraft;
modify the AN-124 aircraft to the AN-124-100 type structure;
modify the AN-124-100 aircraft to the AN-124-100-150 type structure.
