The Tu-204-300 aircraft has left for Korea
The large-scale introduction of up-to-date technologies, machines modification, personnel employment and training within Aviastar-SP bears fruits.
On 27 December, at 2 p.m. the upgraded universal Tu-204-300 aircraft produced under the Contract by Aviastar-SP left for Korea. The Air Koryo company is interested in purchasing more Aviastar-SP airplanes.
This year, 31st for our company, is coming to its end. In all respects Aviastar-SP has the obvious outlook for aircraft production within the UAC. Labor forces grow younger. The top managers and experienced aircraft manufacturers place a great emphasis upon the young who will be our successors.
On glancing back this year in spite of all positive or negative problems can be looked upon as significant, referring to progressive turn to digital technologies. The production of the Tu-204 liners is supplemented by the “476”, the shift-day production schedule is introduced, and the factory is supplied with metals and vendor items. The wages increased, but not all personnel enjoyed their deserved levels. We hope them to be rise.
In August 2007 we caught up with the plan: our Tu-204CE aircraft performed its first transatlantic flight and entered into Cubana de Aviacion’s service. In October through Ilyushin Finance Co. the Aviastar-upgraded Tu-204-100 airplane was delivered to Red Wing company. Other already completed aircraft are to be delivered to foreign companies.
The on-coming year will be not easy. We face large and responsible tasks. The equipment modification must cover all facilities. The aircraft production continues being provided with up-to-date super speed and extra fine machines such as two machines of MAZAK’s. The short-run tasks are to employ labor and to train youth. The strategic tasks are the issues of the personnel social adaptation. Due to production expansion, we believe, the housing facilities construction is ensured.
As the well-known song tells: “The home environment is the greatest thing…”, we would like to wish health, content, happiness, prosperity to each family of aircraft-manufacturers in the New Year, in particular health to your parents.
