AVIASTAR-SP IS READY TO DELIVER AIRCRAFT TO FOREIGN COMPANIES

At present Aviastar-SP export potential accounts for “the first signs” of Tu-204 aircraft family produced for Cuba and China. The first Tu-204-120CE for Air China Cargo is ready to be delivered. The whole certification test program is finished; the Chinese airlines’ maintenance personnel and flight teams are trained. When the Chinese Type Certificate has been issued, the aircraft will be entered into service.

Within May-to-June period there will be final arrangements in regard to two Cuban airplanes under the production schedule. In June the Tu-204CE cargo airliner powered with PS-90 engines will leave for “Island of Freedom” to Cubana de Aviacion’s operation. In May its certification test program, the Supplemental Type Certificate issue and Cuban maintenance personnel training (flight teams one – in the first decade of June) will have been completed.

The second Cuban pax-shaped aircraft is to be delivered to the customer later. All relevant arrangements referring to this airplane will be settled up in May. Meanwhile scheduled works regarding next aircraft are underway according to the corresponding contracts.
