Personnel is the most valuable and important part of manufacturing power of the enterprise. It is necessary to have competitive and highly skilled personnel to manufacture new aircraft, modify operated ones, expand their export, introduce high technologies, and render aviation services. Personnel competency requirements in the aircraft industry are determined by the complex state system of standards, the international and branch standards, quality system standards and normative documentation of personnel training.
Aviastar-SP established Personnel Qualification Approval System (Certification). It determines the conformity of the personnel to the performed work according to the requirements of aircraft manufacturing process. Certification allows revealing promising workers and developing their potentials, providing opportunities to raise the level of their skills furthering to more career opportunities and a larger salary.
To keep a high skill level of the personnel Aviastar-SP has concluded contracts with a number of educational institutions such as Ulyanovsk State University, Ulyanovsk State Technical University, Ulyanovsk Aviation College, Aviastar Educational Center and others located in Ulyanovsk and regions of Russian.
With the purpose of production safety and under Labor Code RF all managers are trained in the labor protection, ecology and production safety (147 persons have been trained within 9 months).
Specialists are trained in information technologies (274 persons have been trained within 9 months).

The company's personnel policy involves recruitment of skilled and unskilled workers including graduates from educational establishments. To attract young specialists the company makes the following:
