MODERNIZATION

AN-124 is modified into An-124-100 (military-transport variant) according to ICAO noise and air navigation requirements etc., Antonov Design Bureau documentation and service life extension programs.

On the customer’s demand, An-124 can be operated differently (including shipment of humanitarian, non-military cargo and cargo outside the Russian Federation territory).

In accordance with the Certificates Aviastar-SP performs the following:

An-124 reconfiguration into An-124-100

Basic upgrade works:

• installation of updated А820М system with УВС А 821М, that provides exact zone navigation (P-RNAV);

• installation of updated radar station А822-10М;

• installation of multifunction colored LCD and display units at pilot’s and navigator’s instrument panel;

• additional installation of GPS-ГЛОНАСС satellite navigation systems;

• installation of TCAS-2000 with “S” Level 4 Transponder;

• installation of Terrain Awareness Warning System ТТА-12;

• installation of automatic portable emergency radio beacon АРМ-406П and emergency-rescue radio beacon АРМ-406АС1; 

• installation of updated БАСК-124-01system;

• installation of updated braking system БУПТ-124 with reinforced  wheels at the basic landing gear unit;

• installation of oxygen equipment БКО-5К.

An-124-100 reconfiguration into An-124-100-150

An-124-100 with 150t payload and 402 t increased take off weight allows to improve aircraft performance characteristics.

On Customers’ demand Aviastar-SP has the right to modify Tu-204-100 passenger aircraft powered with ПС-90А engines into the following:

The aircraft are upgraded under design documentation by performing various works, including:  

• installation of RVSM (assurance of 1000feet vertical separation between 290-410 flight levels); 
• installation of СРПБЗ, СНС-2 systems with  КИСС, СЭИ, TCAS II systems modification;
• aircraft interior modification to provide passengers with comfort.

Aircraft fully meet international noise requirements of Chapter 3 Addendum 16 ICAO standards.
