MODIFICATION UNDER SERVICE BULLETINS AND DESIGN DOCUMENTATION

Airplanes are modified according to design documentation and service bulletins in order to maintain and improve aircraft technical parameters and operational characteristics, to enhance reliability and eliminate design-manufacturing troubles.

Aviastar-SP:

• keeps records and processes information on faults;

•  works out service bulletins and technical tasks;  

•  makes together with designers a technical evaluation of the aircraft in order to prolong the assigned service life (calendar –over 20 years of storage; AN-124-100 total flying time - over 6000, 8000, 12000, 16000 f/h; Tu-201 - over 3000, 6000 f/h);

•  manufactures and completes sets of  aviation goods to perform works under service bulletins and technical tasks; 

• to perform service bulletin activities aiming at troubleshooting, upgrading aircraft, enhancing reliability and prolonging a/c service life;  

• carries out works to prolong a/c assigned service life;

• plans, records and controls modification activities.

Certificates issued by Interstate Aviation Committee confirm the right of Aviastar-SP to carry out the above activities. Aviastar-SP’s production facilities fitted with ground control&service, checking equipment and special tools are the company’s big advantage.

All modification activities are executed by highly qualified personnel either at the factory or aircraft basing sites.
